THE TRIBUTE TO JOHN COLTRANE

 

This year NSJF 2015 Theme is JAZZVERSITY CULTURE also celebrating the most memorable and unforgettable music of  Jazz Legend Saxophonist and Composer John Coltrane (1926-1967).

John has created the world of sound that is limitless. His well known tritonic system has inspired many Jazz Giants like McCoy Tyner, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock and more...to create even more tonic depth innovation and development which called Multitonic System.

John travelled to the eastern part of the world and bring the music into the western culture.

Today's Progressive Rock musician like Peter Gabriel also has continued to bring and develop African Traditional music into the western rhythm of sound.
